What is High Adventure?
The High Adventure camps are a way for scouts looking to get a next-level experience. Currently there are four current official Scouting America High Adventure camps. The four our listed below.
Philmont
Philmont Scout Ranch is a 7 - 12 day backpacking excursion in the New Mexico backcountry.
Sea Base
Florida Sea Base is week long excursion of the coast of Florida. These activities include sailing, scuba diving, and fishing
Northern Tier
Northern Tier located in northern Minnesota where scouts can go on a watercraft experience that can take them into canada.
Summit Bechtel Reserve
Summit Bechtel Reserve is probably the High Adventure camp with the widest variety of activities. It will be hosting the 2026 national jamboree
